An area of trees, roughly 100 yards square, has been burnt and shattered. There is nothing growing in this area. It is difficult to tell when this happened. It is near the Enonia/Irecia road.

Kjeld’s perspective: We came upon this small wasteland almost by accident during our travels through the Dalewood. The trees and grass are dead, snow melts upon contact with the charred soil, and the entire area seems devoid of life. The night after we discovered this area, one member of our party was overcome by terrible nightmares, suggesting that an evil magician had laid waste to the area with his foul magic. Another of our party dreamt of a graceful lady who walked the woods at night. Perhaps she seeks to oust the dark wizard from the Dalewoods?
